  3. Claude will redirect you to GTMee's authorization page. Paste your access token to grant access.

Once connected on the web, GTMee will also appear in Claude Desktop automatically.

Step 2: Add GTMee Instructions to Your Projects Recommended

For the best GTMee experience, add the GTMee system instructions to your Claude Projects. These teach Claude how to route your questions, respond with the right tone, and use GTMee's knowledge base like the GTMee widget does.

  1. Download or copy the GTMee instructions: gtmee-instructions.md
  2. In Claude, create a Project for each client you work with (e.g., "Acme Corp GTM").
  3. Open the Project, go to Project Settings, and paste the GTMee instructions into the instructions box.
  4. Repeat for each client project.
One project per client. Keep each client in its own Claude Project so client context doesn't mix. Add the same GTMee instructions to each project — they teach Claude how to use GTMee, regardless of which client you're working with. Works in both Chat and Cowork modes.
To update: When GTM Partners releases updates, download the latest instructions and paste them into your projects again.

Tips for Best Results

  1. Be specific. "Help me prepare a Pipeline Velocity workshop for a Series B SaaS company" works better than "tell me about pipeline."
  2. Ask follow-ups. GTMee maintains conversation context, so you can drill deeper: "Now give me the discovery questions I should ask in that session."
  3. Mention GTM Partners terms. Using terms like "TRM", "MIM", "CTV", "MOVE", "3Ps", or "GTM OS" helps GTMee find the most relevant content.
  4. Say "GTMee" if the tool isn't activating automatically. Sometimes saying "use GTMee to..." ensures the tool is called.

  • ✅ Contact GTM Partners if you need to regenerate your token

Advanced: GTMee Skills

You don't need a Skill to use GTMee. GTMee's MCP tool description already tells Claude when to activate it for go-to-market questions — it triggers automatically.

Skills are optional and only useful for advanced workflows where you want Claude to follow a specific process. For example:

Most users don't need a Skill. If you find yourself repeating the same instructions in every conversation, that's when a Skill can help.
